There are 7 panels.

PANEL 1:Gus brings the crease of his elbow to his mouth and coughs loudly and repeatedly.

PANEL 2:Mako concludes, thoughtfully: “No, they didn’t find a thing”.

PANEL 3:He adds: “Many didn’t even come back”, as he continues flipping through the pages with his fingers covered in small scars. The page he’s looking at has phrases underlined in red while others have crosses.

PANEL 4:Silence. Mako continues looking down at the notebook. Gus keeps smoking, almost meditative. They both still have their backs to each other.

PANEL 5:Gus gazes thoughtfully at the sea, as if pausing before speaking.

PANEL 6:He finally says: “I wonder if the captain is mentioned”.

PANEL 7:Mako replies: “Frederic mentions they made the journey together. They were friends it seems”.

I'm having some trouble finding movies and series that emphasize on complex characters and interactions. Its hard to pin down exactly what I mean by that, but think Sopranos, Succession, or early Game of Thrones. Most of them are coral stories too, but not necessarily: Wolf Hall fits the bill and its centered around a single character.

I'd love to have that be a category I can filter and look for similar stuff, a writing style taxonomy. I'm not even sure if it is possible to do so, but it should be fun to try.
