There are 6 panels.
PANEL 1: The man continues recounting, standing in the same spot: “Yeah, they were shooting arrow after arrow. They hit a poor bastard and fell into the water”.
PANEL 2 and 3: Hector opens his eyes, alarmed, and at the same time Fran clutches her face in despair and lets out a heart wrenching cry: “Alan!”.
PANEL 4: Hector approaches Fran and tries to calm her, explaining: “I believe they didn’t hit him, he just fell. He must be fine”. The younger brother is sitting on a small stool at the foot of the bed, watching them with a sad expression. At the other end of the room, the old man is holding a bottle of wine. He adds: “Well, if the arrows didn’t get to him, the rocks must have crushed him by now. Poor bastard…”. The man and woman stand listening, and she argues, pointing at the old man: “You don’t know that, maybe he reached the gorges mouth”.
PANEL 5: The old man takes a sip from the bottle, and before drinking, replies with a certain indifference: “Whatever you say, woman. Tomorrow we’ll search for him, or what’s left of him”.
PANEL 6: Hector appears restless and anxiety is evident in his eyes. He announces: “I’ll go after him now”.
