PANEL 1: Alan, still hugging himself, watches what the guide is doing a short distance away. The guide is concentrated on the task of ignition.

PANEL 2: As seen from the guide's perspective, the hole that only contained the firewood is now glowing with fire; His hands still hold the stones.

PANEL 3: Great close-up of the vibrant and luminous fire.

PANEL 4: In a stone oven with a fairly wide mouth, a fire glows between firewood and coals. In front of it, one hand holds a wooden tool and the other, gloved, holds the end of a sharpened metal bar, the other end of which is incandescent due to its contact with the fire.

PANEL 5: An adult man is the one working the metal. He has a prominent nose, wheatish skin and brown eyes. He has thick but short black hair, and a short but bushy beard and mustache. He wears a worn light-colored t-shirt. From a short distance away he is being watched attentively by a little Fran, of about 13 years of age. She wears her long, voluminous shoulder-length red hair, a black t-shirt, jean pants, and simple dark boots. She is sitting on the stairs at the entrance to the next room, with her hands resting on the step between her open legs, and leaning subtly forward. The door opening behind shows part of the interior room. Both the staircase and its railings as well as the door frame are made of wood, whereas the front wall is built with light, large and irregular stones.
