There are 4 panels.

PANEL 1: Vince continues: “Mmm… terrible. What was the plan? I mean, originally”. He dangles his shoes from one hand. A few meters away, Fran is beginning to enter the water while Alan is seated.

PANEL 2: Wade explains, with a somewhat troubled expression and still staring out to sea, “We would get transport in Nebezpech, to Deynir. We would tell them of the situation and we would stay… until all had passed at least”.

PANEL 3: Out at sea, Fran is standing with the water past her ankles. A light breeze seems to caress her hair. Her body is turned slightly to the back. On the wet sand, Alan is seated, taking off his shoes, and in the background, Vince and Wade are still chatting.

PANEL 4: Fran watches them chat. Her expression reveals a certain unease.

As we near the end of the chapter, we realized we haven't commented on the pages as they came out for a while. For anyone who noticed: rest assured, we're still alive.

Over the past few months, we've improved several things on the website, including the ability to schedule pages to publish automatically every other Sunday. Great! Before, we were trying to coordinate who would be there to publish the pages, having to be aware of the time and day... Today, we can forget about it, get on with our lives, and delegate all responsibility to our venerable automation.

What we didn't foresee is that with the freedom of not having to worry about when new pages came out, we stopped worrying about when new pages came out... Author comments were an unfortunate casualty in our pursuit of peace of mind.

I hope to be a little more active in the coming months, but if I'm not, you know the reason. Either way, the pages will continue to come out; here are this week's.
