PANEL 1: Vince and Wade gaze out at the ocean and the kids from the base of the dune. As they keep walking, Vince says: “I hope you find the town comfortable”. Wade nods: “Yes”.

PANEL 2: Wade continues: “We’ve been drifting too long”. They walk along the same trail of footprints the kids left in the sand.

PANEL 3: Alan is crouched at the edge of the ocean, the water barely touching his toes. He feels the flow of the small waves as he strokes the water with his fingers.

PANEL 4: While still looking ahead and at the blacksmith, Wade says: “I understand I owe you an apology, Vincent”. In the distance, Fran reaches Alan.

PANEL 5: Wade adds: “I don’t believe you expected any visits”. They both make a brief stop. Vince looks at him, his expression unchanged.
