PANEL 1: Alan takes the canteen. They both sit silently under the shelter, in the middle of the snowy forest.

PANEL 2 TO 4: He holds the canteen with both hands and takes a look at it. It has a rustic appearance, with a thin bandage that wraps it diagonally. It seems a lot bigger inside his small hands. The lid is open. With his eyes closed he prepares to drink from it, tilting it way up.

PANEL 5: Alan, now an adult, sitting in a shelter set up in a similar way to the previous one, is holding that same canteen in front of him. He observes it intently but with a soft look, dwelling on the past.
