PANEL 1:While the guide keeps looking at the map, motionless, Alan makes a rapid turn and starts walking assertively. His expression shows both exasperation as well as conviction.

PANEL 2:The guide finally turns his head with a blank expression and without dropping the map, looks at Alan.

PANEL 3:He observes Alan over his shoulder, seeming confused but also resigned. Alan stops walking a few meters before a pine tree and puts his backpack on the floor.

PANEL 4:The guide decides to go back to looking at his map, absorbed in it.
